In 2015, world leaders created a "blueprint to achieve a better future for all" known as the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Intended to be achieved by 2030, world leaders still have a long way to go before we can save the planet.
With such a massive task at hand, we must come together to find solutions to these pressing global issues before it is too late. This is a team effort, and everyone on the Earth plays an important role - including you.
During the Hackathon, you will hear from industry professionals around maintaining peace and justice, impacting local communities and sparking change across the globe. You will learn from in-depth masterclasses in design thinking, business modelling and pitching. And will even receive mentorship from the world's best.
On April 15, participants will be encouraged to from teams of seven through FMN's main Slack workspace to come up with an idea, after which work begins. Entries must be submitted on the 21st of June by 5pm, followed by a three-minute pitch for judging on June 28th.
